Potty Play, Ambulances, and The End of An Affair - A Day in the Life

I am going to be very brief due to the late hour but I will expand on all topics in tomorrow nights blog.

First - No need to buy toys ladies. Apparently, the toilet is a super fun place for a toddler and little boy to play. Tonight I found both of my children giggling hysterically in the bathroom with their hands in the toilet water splashing each other. Yes, they had already been bathed! What next?

Second - Toilet water fun happened AFTER I made a 911 call because my oldest child had stuck an extra long magic marker cap in his mouth and somehow managed to get it lodged between the roof of his mouth and back of his front teeth. After several attempts to get it out and me trying to stay calm as he spiraled into hysteria, I finally called 911! What's a mother to do? I was afraid he would choke and die! Guess, what. Seconds after making the call, he managed to pry his little mouth open just a wee bit wider and out popped the marker cap! Literally - thanks be to GOD!

Last but not least - I ended my ongoing love affair with the characters in my latest book a mere 29 minutes ago! YES - I DO ACTUALLY MEAN I FINALLY FINISHED MY BOOK!!!!!! LET THE FUN BEGIN!
