To save or not to save -that is the question

I save my rejections, but I know some writers who delete them or throw them away the minute the ugly "your just not right for me" is read. Why would I save something that marks concretely someone did not think my writing was good enough? I swear I'm not masochistic. I keep my rejections because I KNOW my writing is good, and someday these people who did not have enough foresight to see it will also know it. Then, I want to be able to go back and tell my kids look at this list guys. These people did not believe in me, but I believed in myself. Self belief and determination are two of the most important things you need to succeed as a writer. That and thick skin, the ability to stay up crazy hours, single mindedness and a passion for the story.

So - Do you or don't you save your rejections?

    Julie,
You are right to believe in yourself. Your writing is fantastic and I love your stories.
